Oracle9iAS Single Sign-On (SSO) works out of the box for Oracle and third-party applications, the Oracle eBusiness Suite in particular. Oracle9iAS SSO allows users to login to Oracle9iAS and gain access to those applications for which they are authorized, without having to re-enter a user name and password for each application. Oracle9iAS SSO is fully integrated with the Oracle Internet Directory (OID), and supports LDAP-based user and password management through OID. Oracle provides application developers with a flexible set of mechanisms for integrating applications into the Oracle9iAS SSO framework. Oracle9iAS also supports interoperability with leading third-party SSO products, including Netegrity SiteminderTM.
