Short Bio
I am a Senior Researcher in the Department of Computer Science at the University of Pisa. I have been an alumnus of the University of Pisa, in 2003 he got a B.Sc. in Computer Science and, in 2004, an M.Sc. in Computer Technologies.
From March 2005 to July 2008 I have been a PhD student in the Computer Science and Engineering program at the IMT School for Advanced Studies Lucca and in 2008 I defended my PhD thesis titled “Tools and Models for High-Level Parallel and Grid Programming” supervised by Prof. Marco Danelutto, achieving my PhD in Computer Science and Engineering.
From 2005 to 2022 I have been a member of the High-Performance Computing Laboratory (HPCLab), part of the Institute of Information Science and Technologies “Alessandro Faedo” of the National Research Council of Italy.
The research focus of Patrizio Dazzi is mainly on high-performance distributed systems, Cloud and Edge computing.
