PDP 2010 - The 18th Euromicro International Conference on Parallel, Distributed and Network-Based Computing

The 18th Euromicro International Conference on Parallel, Distributed and Network-Based Computing has been held in Pisa, in the premises of the Department of Computer Science of the University of Pisa, from February 17th to 19th, 2010.

The conference hosted 3 invited speakers from Europe and US: Ramin Yahyapour, from TU Dortmund, Walter Rinaldi, from Eurotech Italy, and Fabrizio Petrini, from IBM TJ Watson Research Center

In addition: 27 full papers and 15 short papers have been presented in the conference main track, 35 full papers and 11 short papers have been presented in the 9 Special sessions organized within the conference, and 5 (out of 7 accepted) papers have been presented in the Work In Progress (WIP) Session.

The overall acceptance rate of full papers in the PDP 2010 main track has been 28.1%, while it reached 35.6% including the special sessions.

At the end of this Euromicro PDP, it has been announced that next year PDP will be organized in Cyprus.
