 Received her M.S. degree in Computer Science at the University of Pisa in 1985 (cum magna laude)

 Received her Ph.D. in Computer Science at the University of Pisa in 1990




 Positions

 Joined the Dipartimento di Informatica of the University of Pisa as Assistant Professor in Operations Research in 1992

 Has been appointed Associate Professor in Operations Research at the University of Pisa (Dipartimento di Informatica) in 1998

 Is the president of the Ph.D. Council in Mathematics for Economic Decisions of the University of Pisa (Ph.D. School Leonardo Fibonacci)

 Is a member of the Ph.D. Council in Computer Science of the University of Pisa (Ph.D. School Galileo Galilei)

 Is a member of the steering committee of AIRO (Associazione Italiana di Ricerca Operativa)




 Scientific activities


 Conference organization

  Has organized the scientific conference INOC 2009, held in Pisa from the 26th to the 29th of April 2009; INOC is the conference of the European Network Optimization Group (ENOG), a working group of EURO

  Has organized the scientific workshop HCM 97 (Human Capital and Mobility, "Models, Algorithms and Systems for Decision Making"), Pisa, 1997

  Has organized clusters and sessions for several national and international conferences (also delivering lectures)
