Bio
Omid Isfahani Alamdari was born in Hadishahr, Iran, in 1989. Currently, he is a Ph.D. student in department of Computer Science at University of Pisa and a member of the Knowledge Discovery and Data Mining Laboratory (KDD- Lab), a joint research group with the Information Science and Technology Institute of Italian National Research Council. Prior to joining the University of Pisa in 2016, he was the member of Moving Objects Databases (MODB) research group at Iran University of Science and Technology. He received a B.Sc. and M.Sc. in computer engineering from Urmia University and Iran University of Science and Technology, in 2013 and 2016, respectively. His research interests include mobility big data, distributed systems, database systems and location-based services. His Ph.D. thesis is oriented to the processing and mining of big mobility data.
