Downloading and Printing PDF Files

To download one or more PDF files for printing, go to the List of All Books (on the left side of the home page) or one of the Solution Area tabs.

Using the Solution Area Tabs

Each Solution Area tab contains lists of books divided by topic. For example, the Business Intelligence tab contains books about Oracle9iAS Clickstream Intelligence and Oracle9iAS Personalization.

There are links to the HTML and PDF versions of the books listed on the Solution Area tab. To view the PDF file for a particular book, click on the PDF link next to the book title. To download the PDF file, right click on the PDF link and choose Save Link As or Save Target As and specify the location where you want the file to be saved. You can then view and print the PDF file directly from your computer.

Using the List of All Books

Within the List of All Books, the books are listed alphabetically by their short titles, usually without the initial "Oracle" or "Oracle9i". They are alphabetized according to their usual short names, so Concepts is under C and the Oracle9iAS Wireless documentation is under W.

The books are listed on a single page, making it faster to find a single book and easy to download multiple PDF files without switching pages. To view the PDF file for a particular book click on the PDF link next to the book title. To download the PDF file, right click on the PDF link and choose Save Link As or Save Target As. You can then view and print the PDF file directly from your computer.

You can use the shortcuts at the top of the page to view books in certain categories. You can get a list that contains books appropriate for new users, administrators, or application developers. From each of these pages you can return to the list of all books.

The links next to each book name let you jump to the most appropriate spot in the book:

If you want to see what is in the book, or locate a particular chapter, use the Table of Contents link.

If you want to look up a term or keyword, use the Index link.

To search only that book, use the Search link.

Finding Books Not in the Documentation Library

This system includes only some of the books that Oracle publishes. For other subjects or products, you may need to look elsewhere.
