This figure provides an overview of common view to native format message outgoing messages. The components mentioned in this figure are described throughout this appendix.
A box labeled the Oracle9iAS InterConnect Technology Adapter sits in the middle of the figure. There are three smaller boxes inside this box:
A box labeled Common View Message box in the upper right side of the figure includes an arrow that points to the Agent box. The Common View Message box is outside the box labeled Oracle9iAS InterConnect Technology Adapter.
Immediately below the Common View Message box is a database labeled Runtime Repository. The Runtime Repository box includes an arrow that points to the Bridge box. The Runtime Repository is also outside the box labeled Oracle9iAS InterConnect Technology Adapter.
The Agent box includes an arrow that points to the Bridge box. The wording below this arrow says Oracle9iAS InterConnect Application View Message. The D3L Translation Engine box inside the Bridge box includes an arrow pointing to the Common Transport box. The D3L Translation Engine box also includes an arrow that points to a box labeled MQSeries Queue Manager in the top left corner of the figure (outside the box labeled Oracle9iAS InterConnect Technology Adapter). The arrow is labeled Native Format Message (byte stream).
Immediately below the MQSeries Queue Manager box is a server labeled Local SMTP Server. The Common Transport box includes an arrow that points out to the Local SMTP Server.
Immediately below the Local SMTP Server box is a server labeled Remote FTP Server. The Common Transport box includes an arrow that points out to the Remote FTP Server. The Remote FTP Server is outside the box labeled Oracle9iAS InterConnect Technology Adapter.
Immediately below the Remote FTP Server is a server labeled Remote HTTP Servlet. The Common Transport box includes an arrow that points out to the Remote HTTP Servlet. Before reaching the Remote HTTP Servlet, the arrow passes through a local firewall/proxy. The Remote HTTP Servlet is outside the box labeled Oracle9iAS InterConnect Technology Adapter.
The Agent box includes an arrow pointing down to a box labeled Oracle9iAS InterConnect. The Bridge box includes an arrow that points both down to the Oracle9iAS InterConnect box and back up to the Bridge box. The wording with this arrow says D3L File Retrieval. The wording below the Oracle9iAS InterConnect box says the following:
Runtime Logs/Traces/D3L Files/adapter.ini File. The wording in parentheses below this says the following:
adapter.ini identifies the D3L file to retrieve that describes the native format message contents
