This figure provides an overview of native format message to common view incoming messages. The components mentioned in this figure are described throughout this appendix.

A box labeled the Oracle9iAS InterConnect Technology Adapter sits in the middle of the figure. There are three smaller boxes inside this box:

The box on the left is labeled Common Transport.
The box in the middle is labeled Bridge, and includes a smaller box labeled D3L Translation Engine.
The box on the right is labeled Agent.
